Zucchini Pasta

I recently purchased a Paderno Spiral Vegetable Slicer from Amazon Canada (CAD$33.95 + tax & shipping). It’s a nifty little device which Paderno says makes quick work out of peeling vegetables. It comes with three different blades for whatever spiralizing needs you may have. Like in this case, Zucchini Pasta.

Inspired by a post I saw on Pinterest, I intended to use the Paderno Spiral Vegetable Slicer for carb-free meals. Turns out that it’s fairly easy to use, and is dishwasher-safe (to avoid those nasty cuts).

So far, I’ve used it to make Zucchini Pasta. Take a nice zucchini, put it on the metal prongs then turn the wheel slowly while you push the base towards the blades. Slow and steady, to avoid injury.

If you have recipes to share using this gadget, I would love to hear from you.
