Christmas brunch ideas
Pound Cake recipe by The Sweet Edge

Nothing like the holidays to spend time with friends and family. You know what makes it even better? Spending most of that time with friends and family eating! Here’s a quick list of Christmas brunch ideas. Warning: there’s plenty of gingerbread on this list!

10. Overnight Gingerbread Cinnamon Rolls

Whilst it may not be for the impatient, these cinnamon rolls are definitely worth the wait! Don’t forget to put a lot of that cream cheese frosting, you hear?

9. Twisted Sticky Caramel Pecan Roll

Your friends and family will tell you you’re the best after you serve them this super sticky roll.

8. Mini Pecan Scones with Country Ham and Pickled Plums

These sandwiches may be small, but they’re super delicious. Plus, they’re very easy to make.

7. Gingerbread Donuts

I told you there’d be a lot of gingerbread on this list! Check out these donuts, made of gingerbread and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.

6. Frosted Pecan Pie Muffins

It’s like a pecan pie, but smaller. Don’t let the size fool you though, these little guys pack quite a punch of flavour that will be sure to satisfy even the most discerning sweet tooth!

5. Crescent Bacon Breakfast Ring

This ring was made to be broken apart and enjoyed. But be quick about it, or you just might run out!

3. White Gingerbread Crescent Rolls

These rolls are filled with white chocolate, cream cheese and gingersnaps! Did we mention it has icing made of even more white chocolate and gingersnaps?

4. Eggnog Pancakes

Do you know what’s even better than pancakes? Eggnog pancakes! Ho ho ho!

2. Gingerbread Pear Rolls

This loaf is made of everything sweet and spice (and everything nice). Make more than one roll, you won’t be sorry.

1. Pound Cake

Of course, this list wouldn’t be complete without my recipe for Pound Cake!

Pound cake is a dessert tradition for many families the world over, and for good reason. Traditionally made of one pound of each of the following ingredients: flour, butter, eggs and sugar, it is simply heaven to bake and to serve.
