Apple Crisp recipe

Apple Crisp is a classic dessert made of baked apples chopped into bite-sized pieces, topped with a crisp streusel crust. Try this very easy Apple Crisp recipe, it has the same filling as Apple Pie, without the pie shell. Here’s an easy apple crisp recipe for you to try!

I’ve been craving for Apple Pie for the past few days, but I was having second second thoughts. Perhaps I could try something healthier? That’s when I came up with the idea of trying to make Apple Crisp instead.

Preparing Apple Crisp is similar to Apple Pie, except you don’t use a pie shell. In making the filling, I prefer using Granny Smith apples. They’ve got a little bit more tart, and just the right amount of sweetness. You could also try using other types of apples such as Royal Gala or Fuji. Here’s the recipe I usually use. It’s very easy to make, and has the added benefit of being dairy, egg and gluten-free!

Do let me know how it turns out! Enjoy! 🙂 Elenore
